🗓️ Observed Annually on July 12
World Reach Out Together Day
"Together, we're stronger — together, we heal."
What is World
Reach Out Together Day?
World Reach Out Together Day, observed each year on July 12, is a global reminder to check in with our loved ones, speak openly about mental health, and stand together in the fight against silence, stigma, and isolation.
This special day was founded in memory of Tushar, a bright soul who tragically passed away by suicide on July 12, 2016. His twin sister turned this heartbreaking loss into a powerful mission—creating Reach Out Together, a grassroots not-for-profit dedicated to mental health education, community connection, and suicide prevention.
On July 12, we honour Tushar's legacy by reminding the world: one small outreach can make a life-changing difference.
The Power of Together
The "together" in Reach Out Together isn't just a word—it's a lifeline. Mental wellness isn't a solo journey. Whether it's reaching out to a friend, sharing your story, or checking in with yourself, the act of connection can be a powerful tool in healing and recovery.
“Isolation can breed despair—but togetherness can spark hope.”
